On Friday April 12th the Grassi Museum for Musical Instruments opens a new season devoted to the classical guitar.
Conceived as a platform in which the classical guitar can be presented in its full multifaceted majesty, the Leipziger Gitarrenkonzerte Season features four concerts which promise to cover a wide range of styles and musical phiosophies.
The opening concert features the Belgian musicians Teyatá duo performing works by contemporary composers including Steve Reich or Stephen Wingfield, in addition to their own compositions.
