Grassi Museum for Musical Instruments Concert: 20th Century Hungarian Religious Music

For all who still find themselves humming along to the memory of Christmas choirs and Christmas hymns, the Grassi Museum for Musical Instruments is hosting a concert on Saturday January 19th by the choir of the Kirchenmusikalischen Instituts der Hochschule für Musik und Theater “Felix Mendelssohn Bartholdy” Leipzig.

Concentrating on 20th century religious music from Hungary the afternoon features works by composers such as Lajos Bárdos, Zoltán Kodály, György Orbán and László Halmos.
