It’s that time of year again!
On Sunday September 4th the three “Grassi” museums will be staging their annual Grassifest featuring a wide range of events and attractions for young and old
In the museum courtyard and foyers visitors will be invited to try their hand at, for example, pottery, candle making or Mongolian archery.
While in the exhibition rooms a range of special tours, demonstrations and competitions is being organised.
In addition visitors will be able to get a sneak preview of the recreated Josef Albers Window on the main staircase.
Simultaneously the Grassi Leipzig Ethnography Museum is hosting their 6th BASAR im Grassi. From September 2nd to 4th over 20 craftsmen and artisans from around the world will be offering the fruits of their labours for sale in market atmosphere within the Museum building.
The BASAR im Grassi runs from Friday Sept 2nd until Sunday Sept 4th. Entry costs Euro 2, children up to 16 free.
