Grassi Leipzig Ethnography Museum: ALL ABOUT RELIGION – Part 5: Buddhism

In the final part of their “All About Religion” series the Grassi Leipzig Ethnography Museum are giving visitors the chance  on July 17th to get to know Buddhism a little better.

At 2pm a discussions round with a practicing Buddhist offers interested parties the  opportunity to learn more about the practical realities and practices of Buddhism; and at 3pm Dr. Heinz Mürmel from Leipzig University will present a lecture on the history of Buddhism, with a special focus on the  Theravada-Buddhism as practices in Sri Lanka and Thailand.

For children a puzzle trail through the exhibition rooms leads not only to more information on Buddhism, but eventually also a prize!!
