As part of the MIMO (Musical Instruments Museums Online) project being run in collaboration with 10 further European museums, the pan-European culture portal europeana.eu is currently hosting a virtual exhibition of musical instruments.
Covering themes such as instrument design, instrument makes and celebrity instruments “Explore the World of Musical Instruments” provides an overview and introduction to the variety of styles and cultural relevance of musical instruments.
